Glass, coating and hardware options

Every enclosure is specified around a few choices. Glass: 10 mm tempered is standard; low-iron (ultra-clear) shows tile true-to-colour; frosted, fluted/reeded and tinted glass add privacy and texture. Coating: an optional factory-applied easy-clean treatment bonds to the glass and repels water and soap scum — the best defence against the GTA’s hard-water spotting. Hardware: hinges, handles, clamps and header bars in brushed nickel, matte black, chrome or brushed gold to match your faucets and lighting. Seals: quality sweeps and seals keep water in the shower, not on the floor — the detail cheap doors get wrong.
