Warranty Information
We’ve spent the last decade building and refining our entire process — from sales to installation — to make the experience as smooth as possible for both our customers and staff. Please review the following Terms & Conditions and Warranty Information applicable to our glass, mirror, railing, shower, window, and door projects.
- 1. Quotation Pricing
Quotations are valid for sixty (60) days unless otherwise stated. Skyline Glass & Mirror Ltd. (“Skyline Glass”) reserves the right to revise pricing due to changes in material costs, supplier pricing, freight, tariffs, or project scope. - 2. Order Confirmation and Payment Terms
To confirm an order, the customer must sign the issued work order or quotation approval and provide the required deposit prior to work commencing. Standard payment schedule unless otherwise stated: 50% deposit upon order confirmation, 35% due upon delivery of materials, and the remaining balance due upon substantial completion. Production time begins only after receipt of both the signed approval and required deposit. Skyline Glass reserves the right to suspend production, delivery, or installation for overdue accounts. - 3. Agreement to Terms
Approval of a quotation, work order, invoice, or deposit payment constitutes acceptance of Skyline Glass Terms and Conditions. - 4. Order Changes, Cancellations, and Returns
Once approved, orders for custom fabricated products may not be cancelled, returned, or modified without written approval from Skyline Glass. Approved changes may result in revised pricing, delays, re-measurement fees, or additional installation costs. Any completed work or ordered materials remain payable by the customer. - 5. Quotation Basis
Quotations are prepared based on information provided by the customer, including drawings, dimensions, glass selections, hardware, finishes, site conditions, and additional project requirements. Changes to provided information or project scope may result in revised pricing and timelines. - 6. Taxes and Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, all applicable taxes are additional. Per square foot pricing calculations may be rounded up to the next even dimensional inch for production and material optimization purposes. - 7. Production and Installation Timelines
Production and installation timelines are estimates only and may fluctuate depending on schedule, material availability, supplier lead times, weather conditions, site readiness, and factors outside Skyline Glass’s control. Customers are encouraged to confirm current production timelines prior to approval. - 8. Custom Fabrication and Installation
Custom fabricated products may require multiple site visits for measurements, templating, installation, adjustments, or hardware replacement. In the event re-fabrication is required due to Skyline Glass measurement or manufacturing error, replacement materials will be prioritized at no additional cost to the customer. - 9. Client-Provided Measurements
Products manufactured using customer-supplied measurements are produced strictly to the dimensions provided. Skyline Glass is not responsible for fitment issues, installation complications, or re-fabrication costs resulting from inaccurate customer-provided measurements. - 10. Measurement Accuracy
Skyline Glass is responsible for the accuracy of measurements taken by Skyline Glass technicians. Any re-fabrication required due to Skyline Glass measurement error will not be billed to the customer. Changes to approved sizes or project scope after production begins may result in additional charges. - 11. Customer Review and Approval Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all final drawings, specifications, dimensions, layouts, glass selections, and hardware finishes prior to production. Approved drawings and signed work orders are considered final authorization for fabrication. - 12. Warranty
Skyline Glass products and installations include a limited two (2) year warranty against defects in supplied materials and installation workmanship unless otherwise stated in writing.Full warranty details, exclusions, and claim procedures can be found here:

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all supporting structures including decks, stair stringers, balconies, concrete, framing, and roofing systems are structurally adequate to support railing installations. Skyline Glass does not provide structural engineering assessments unless specifically contracted in writing. Engineering inspections are strongly recommended where structural adequacy is uncertain. Prefabricated hardware engineering documentation may be available upon request. Custom engineered drawings may be provided for an additional fee. - 14. Shower Installations
Frameless and semi-frameless shower enclosures are designed to minimize water leakage but cannot guarantee complete prevention of water splashing or leakage due to the nature of frameless glazing systems. Customers are responsible for ensuring proper waterproofing, tile slope, drainage, and threshold construction prior to installation. Water leakage caused by improper drainage, building movement, or deficiencies in work completed by others is excluded from warranty coverage. - 15. Site Conditions and Access
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to work areas during scheduled visits. Delays caused by inaccessible work areas, unfinished construction, unsafe conditions, or scheduling conflicts may result in additional charges or rescheduling fees. - 16. Glass Characteristics and Tolerances
Minor visual distortions, roller wave, anisotropy, slight colour variation, and other characteristics inherent to tempered, laminated, low-iron, coated, or specialty glass products are considered industry standard and are not defects. - 17. Late Payments and Collection Costs
Overdue balances are subject to interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum). The customer shall be responsible for all costs incurred by Skyline Glass in the collection of overdue accounts, including legal fees, court costs, lien registration fees, lien discharge fees, and collection agency expenses where applicable.
